PROJECT 2D:
PERSPECTIVES

"Perspective is what makes a work of art appear to have form, dimension, distance, and space. In other words, it makes the work of art look realistic."

INTRODUCTION

The final segment of Project 2. In this assignment, the aim is to produce perspective drawings of the Farnsworth House. 1 piece of one point perspective drawing and 1 piece of two point perspective drawing.

In this assignment, it is very crucial that we have a complete understanding of what different types of perspective look like, and how we can accurately produce a drawing through the use of orthographic drawings.

REFLECTION

Personally this final part of the project was the most challenging one, as when I first began this assignment I still didn't have a firm grasp on the technical aspects of producing a two point perspective drawing. Even though we were provided with supplementary videos, it was tricky to fully understand it on the first run as there were unexplained parts of the video in which I had to rewatch a couple of times to figure it out myself.

But as challenging as it was, it was an eye opening experience as I learnt to be patient with myself as I to try to analyse and understand things I find hard to comprehend.
